When custom typing practice helps

A custom typing test is useful when you want to practice the exact type of text you read at work, school or during exam preparation. Paste a paragraph, notes, a news-style passage or study material, then measure WPM, accuracy and errors in the same typing workspace.

For best results, use clean text with complete sentences and normal punctuation. Start with a shorter paragraph if you are building accuracy, then increase the length when you can type with fewer mistakes. Your custom text is temporary and is used only for the current practice session.

This page is also useful for interview preparation, transcription practice, study revision and daily keyboard warmups. Keep one paragraph as your baseline test and repeat it weekly to compare speed, accuracy and consistency.
